Dandy Magic

Dandy Magic ran ten times in 2026 and was rarely far away. She got her reward at Hamilton in August and was placed at Ascot, Hamilton and Doncaster, where she finished second in a big field.

Dandy Magic stood out as a natural fit for the club from the beginning. She is a four-year-old filly by Dandy Man, a stallion renowned for producing fast, durable horses that thrive in competitive sprint handicaps. Her dam, Magic Mirror, is by Dutch Art, another proven influence for speed.

What we particularly like about Dandy Magic is her attitude. She is the sort of horse that turns up and gives an honest performance, something that is incredibly important in a racing club environment where members want to see their horse out regularly and competing well.

She is trained by Jim Goldie, whose yard has been one of the most respected operations in Scottish racing for many years.
