FAQ’S

The 2026 campaign runs from 1 March – 31 October 2026, aligning with the core flat racing season in the UK. The structure maximises active racing opportunities while avoiding unnecessary off-season costs. The campaign is delivered in partnership with Summerstorm Bloodstock. Summerstorm Bloodstock retains ownership of all horses. Five Star Racing Club operates under a structured racing agreement that provides a unique opportunity to campaign the horses throughout the season and retain all prize money generated during the campaign period.

The 2026 Racing Collective (Horses)

• Naana’s Shadow (Katie Scott trained)

• Cotai Starlight (Katie Scott trained)

• Dandy Magic (Jim Goldie trained)

• Summerstorm’s Dream (Jim Goldie trained)

All horses are young, carefully selected for progression, and positioned for improvement throughout the season. Race placement and class will be determined by professional trainers based on performance and development.

Four-Horse Model

A four-horse structure spreads performance exposure, increases race-day frequency and enhances badge access opportunities. It reduces reliance on a single outcome and provides greater campaign continuity.

Reserve Horse Protocol

A pre-identified reserve horse forms part of the campaign structure. If any campaign horse is sidelined for longer than one month, the reserve horse will be activated. The reserve is included within the campaign budget.

What is Five Star Racing Club?

Why do we do this?

We want to make horse racing more accessible, and the most beautiful thing is cheering on a horse you are a real part of. The thrill to be part of the journey for not 1 but 4 horses is a feeling unmatched. We want to give you that feeling!

Who is the club for?

The club welcomes members of all experience levels whether new to racing or long-time followers. We aim to create an open and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. Through the club you’ll hopefully learn lots more about the sport with all the behind the scenes access we provide.

Is participation limited?

Yes. Participation is limited and closes once allocation capacity is filled.

Can I buy more?

Yes, you can purchase more up to capacity. In practice this means you can buy additional allocation should you want an increased share. For example, if you want 10% you can purchase two inner circle slots. This is a great idea for sharing the passion with someone close to you.

Can members attend races?

Absolutely! Members are encouraged to attend race meetings whenever possible, and the club will coordinate meeting points when horses run.

How do owners’ badges work?

Each racecourse provides a limited and varied number of badges; these will be split accordingly, between the tiers. All Inner Circle members will receive free entry as a minimum (48hr notice required). Owners’ badges constitute free entry and allow for parade ring access.

How will we receive communication?

Communication will be provided through email and WhatsApp, each horse will have their own channel which will provide individual updates, there will be a collective channel to announce general updates, there will be the Inner Circle chat, Silver chat and Bronze chat.

What is the long-term plan?

The club intends to grow over time; this is a long-term project to grow steadily and responsibly. The great benefit of coming in now is the priority and future loyalty rewards to come, participants now will receive priority access to future campaigns.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, participation is fully inclusive for the 2026 campaign. There will be no capital calls, supplementary levies or additional invoices. All operational, training and racing costs for the season are budgeted within the participation structure.

How is prize money distributed?

All prize money received is subject to standard racing deductions (trainer, jockey and industry deductions). Following the conclusion of the season, full reconciliation is completed and any net surplus is distributed proportionally to participants. One consolidated distribution will be made in December 2026. E.g. 5% stake will receive 5% prize money post deductions.
Are horses sold during the campaign?

If a horse receives an offer that is accepted, the club will receive a bonus payment for this, and an additional horse shall become part of the club. So, still 4 runners and an extra bonus on top.

What happens if I stop paying my monthly payment?

This is a scenario we wish to avoid, failure to make payment can result in forfeiture of agreement, no refunds will be issued, and no prize money will be paid out at year end. The club reserves the right to enforce this. Each circumstance will be taken individually, and it is at the discretion of the syndicate manager what action takes place.

Am I guaranteed my money back?

We cannot guarantee you will receive the membership fee back, as it is competitive sport we are participating in. The club will make every effort to maximise prize money and is optimistic in doing so but it is sport. Moreover, we look to add value in all tiers to maximise enjoyment out of the club.
